History and Mission

Novatia was established in January 2000 by three analytical chemists with extensive expertise in mass spectrometry and NMR combined with an intense interest in using the latest analytical and information technologies to solve analytical problems. Since its founding, Novatia has grown from a small consulting and software development business into a full-service analytical laboratory. Novatia’s mission is to provide outstanding analytical services to customers primarily in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Technologies that we have developed in our labs are also made available as products to complement and extend the analytical capabilities of other laboratories. The driving force behind Novatia is an exceptional ability to unite hardware, software, and chemistry into answers for our customers.

Laboratory Space

Novatia currently occupies approximately 3500 square feet of office and laboratory space located in the Princeton Corporate Plaza. The main offices are located in Suite 202 along with sample storage and preparation facilities. NMR instrumentation is located in suite 115. In early 2009, Novatia added approximately 2000 square feet for a planned GMP analytical suite (NMR and MS) along with a synthetic chemistry laboratory with our partner company Reaction Science.

Instrumentation

Novatia is equipped with state of the art analytical instrumentation for Mass Spectrometry (MS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), and Liquid Chromatography.
