ProMass reports results in html format. Reports are created during ProMass processing by populating template html files with data from the sample being processed. Different templates are used, depending on the type of processing that is done. During manual processing of spectra, the Manual Processing Report Template is used. During automatic processing initiated from the Xcalibur sample list, the Auto Processing Report Template and Summary Template are used. Template files are found in the ProMass program directory in the templates directory. The following files are the default templates:
Manual Processing Report Template: manual_proc.html
Auto Processing Report Template: auto_proc.html
Auto Processing Summary Template: summary.html
If you are proficient at editing html documents, you can edit the templates in order to produce customized reports. It is suggested that you not edit any of the default templates without first making a backup copy.
