High Sensitivity Capillary NMR Analysis

1D 1H NMR Spectra on nanograms

For example, our system enables routine 1H proton data to be collected on as little as 500 ng in less than 1 hour. The figure on the right shows the spectrum of 200 ng (1.5 nMoles) of hisidiine collected in 50 minutes on a 500 MHz instrument. Histidine resonances are visible at 7.5, 7, 4.8 and a pair at 3 ppm. Data were collected in 90:10 D20:dAcN. Additional resonances are due to protonated solvents and impurities.

2D 1H-13C Correlation Spectra on micrograms

1H-13C 2D correlation experiments (e.g., HSQC, HMBC) provide critical structure elucidation and conformation data allowing for completed and unambiguous structure determination of compounds. Novatia's High Sensitivity NMR package also includes the ability to get these important data sets on as little as a few micrograms of material. The figure on the right on shows the 1H-13C HMQC data obtained on 15 ug (50 nMoles) of sucrose in 14 hours at 500 MHz.
